Dr. Reza Zarei Sahamieh obtained his B.Sc in Geology from Esfahan University and M. S. of Petrology from Kharazmi Unversity of Tehran.He was awarded PhD. in Petrology from Kharazmi Unversity in 1999. He is presently working as professor of Petrology and scientific member at the department of geology, Lorestan University, Khorram Abad , Iran. He has published 35 technical papers in national and international journals and more than 80 technical papers in national and international symposiums. He has got many national awards from different professional societies and organizations. He also had been appointed as Head of Geology Department of Lorestan University for six years (2011-2017). At the time being his research interested area is Petrology and Geochemistry on witch eight Ph.D. researches are carrying out.
